Pilot Pump Introduction

The PC50/PC56 pilot pump is a key gear-type pilot/replenishing pump in the hydraulic system of the PC50 and PC56 series mini excavators. It generates a low-pressure, stable oil flow through the high-speed rotation of external meshing gears. On one hand, it continuously supplies oil to the pilot control circuit, driving the PPC valve and pilot valve to ensure sensitive and precise operation of the control levers. On the other hand, it provides replenishment oil to the main pump, effectively preventing cavitation and assisting in system cooling and lubrication. This pump is compact, highly reliable, and easy to maintain. It is directly compatible with models such as PC50MR-2, PC55, and PC56, and is a crucial component ensuring the overall machine's handling performance and stable hydraulic system operation.
